MARLA PIETROWSKI
Founder and Executive Director

Ms. Pietrowski’s passion for fine and decorative art and her desire to share the wealth of knowledge gleaned from more than two decades of experience as a lecturer on European decorative art is the inspiration for the formation of True Renaissance. She is an avid collector of French decorative art and has written her first book on the subject, “The Beginner’s Guide to 18th Century French Decorative Art,” which will be published this year. Ms. Pietrowski is from the United States but in London for a number of years and studied European art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art. More recently she worked for Christie’s in Geneva. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Education, and a Master of Science in Organization Development. She also holds a professional certificate in European Styles of Art and Art History. Her professional qualifications and expertise have been forged through experiences in various sectors including education, national and international business and decorative arts. She has a passion for French decorative art and has volunteered in Washington, D.C. at the Hillwood Museum and Gardens. More recently, and in connection with this True Renaissance, Ms. Pietrowski has returned to the United States and is presently residing in New Jersey.

Kathy Dempsey
Chief Financial Officer, Non Profits; Strategic Business Partner

Ms. Dempsey specializes in financial leadership, restructuring, CFO services and mentoring for both, not-for-profit and for profit organizations. She has extensive experience in non profit management and in this connection recently offered her services, pro bono, for both the American Diabetes Association and Community Health Charities.

Prior to this, Ms. Dempsey served as a Partner at Tatum, an executive services firm, which specializes in placing Interim, Chief Financial Officers in organizations such as the NAACP, Envision EMI, MedStar Research Institute and the NEA Foundation. Prior to this, Ms. Dempsey was the CFO for the National Cathedral School for Girls, in Washington, DC. She also held the positions of COO and CFO at the American Psychiatric Association and Senior VP and CFO of the National Food Processors Association, as well as, and the position of Controller at Mortgage Bankers Association.

Ms. Dempsey began her career as staff associate at Beers and Cutler, Certified Public Accountants and holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from George Washington University, in Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.

Tinique Peery
Human Resources Director; Strategic Business Partner

Tinique Peery provides business leadership and partnership to corporate functions in over 40 countries.
She has responsibility for partnering with senior executives in the areas of leadership consultation, talent management, strategy development and execution, organization redesign and building organizational capability. Tinique understands the value chain and value proposition of business which allows her to anticipate issues and offer solutions that drive business success. Tinique has worked in leadership roles at global Fortune 500 companies to include Campbell Soup Company.

Tinique holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University-Smeal College of Business and a Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University-Douglass College. She is an active member of the Penn State MBA Alumni Board, member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and a former Board Member, Salem County Chamber of Commerce. Tinique resides in New Jersey.

Darius Monkevicius Von Lubicz
International Business, Diplomatic Community Advisor

Darius von Lubicz is originally from Lithuania, but presently resides in Barcelona, Spain. He has extensive experience in international business and is presently employed by VINCINT International Investments. Previous experience includes advisory responsibilities to the Ambassador of Lithuania in connection with the Vatican while at the Embassy of Lithuania in Italy. In addition, Mr. von Lubicz served as Executive Vice President, Washington World Group, Washington, D.C.. He is knowledgeable in both the diplomatic and international communities and speaks eleven languages including French, Italian, Spanish, English and Russian.

Erin Berry
Creative Artists Advisor

Erin Berry is a graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C., and has performed at numerous venues around the world. She is both innovative and creative and brings a vast amount of knowledge in the area if artistic engagement and visual presentation. Ms. Berry supports the belief that various aspects of art education teach children the importance of focusing, being motivated, collaborating, and working hard. Historically, the arts have been central to education and it is no coincidence that they are traditionally associated with the idea that an educated person is assumed to have artistic exposure.

Elena Harding
International Actress, Western Art Specialist

Elena Harding is a Romanian actress living and working in London (United Kingdom). She has a huge love and appreciation for art, in all possible forms. In fact, before she decided to turn acting into a full time career she studied Art History at Sotheby’s, London and holds a Masters in European Art.

“I believe painting and acting, both visual arts, have plenty of ground in common. Painters and actors alike build images and stories to get to relate to the viewers. They both touch invisible chords and awaken latent awareness so much so people feel inspired, empowered and courageous to address their own problems with honesty and infinite love.”

Elena acts in short and feature films and is also involved in theatre acting. She is always looking for ways of combining her love of art with her love of theatre and film and has been instrumental at producing short film series on both the paintings and artists commonly associated with museums in London and other European cities.

Troy Pitts
Councilman, Entrepreneur; Community Partner Advisor

Troy Pitts success in business spans more than twenty years and includes management, leadership and facility operations. As a part of the leadership team for one of New Jersey’s largest correctional facilities, he has extensive knowledge in best practices as they relate to securing operational facilities and company assets. This knowledge will be vital in assisting True Renaissance, Inc. during the Phase II planning and development stages. As a community business owner and, more recently, an elected official to Fairfield Township, Mr. Pitts serves as a community business partner to True Renaissance and a valuable asset to the board member team.

Anand A. Acharya
Attorney; Legal Advisor

Anand A. Acharya is an attorney licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has awide array of professional experiences including civil and criminal litigation and intellectual property law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law and degree in Accounting from Pace University. While at Rutgers, he was elected to the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team and competed in Hong Kong, SAR, earning an individual ranking in the top 20% and an honorable mention for the best brief award.

Mr. Acharya has been invited to speak at the Annual Intellectual Property Law Summit hosted by Y.J. Trivedi-AMA Academy for Intellectual Property Rights in India. Most recently, he delivered a lecture and sat on a panel discussing the crossroads of intellectual property protections and the need for access to life-saving medicines.
